History
Zuigerverenfabriek Rottink B.V. was established in 1946 by Bernhard Rottink in Ambt-Delden. The company concentrated from the very beginning on the production and sale of piston rings. A real specialist.
After Bernhard Rottink retired in 1989, Jan Willem van den Berg and his wife Madeleine van den Berg-Rottink, became the owners of the company.
In the 1990s and afterwards, the company was modernised and a move was made to an ultra-modern production and office location in Almelo in 2003.
. Many new, young people were engaged and trained within the company. Most of these employees can be deployed to any of the machines to make production more efficient. This contributes to the full capacity of all our machines.
Sadly, Jan Willem died on 2 May 2006, at 51 years of age.
Until he was diagnosed with his disease, he enjoyed leading the company. Before he passed away he installed amanagement team that is responsible for the company’s daily operations.
The steady growth of the company has led to the accommodation at the Twentepoort West location becoming too small.
Reason enough to build at the XL Business Park (https://www.portoftwente.com/).
As a result, Rottink will once again be ready for a successful continuation of its business to serve its customers from 2020.
